Trezor.io/Start® - Starting Up Your Device | Trezor®
To start up your Trezor device, follow these steps:
1. Unbox Your Trezor
Open the package and take out your Trezor device, USB cable, and any other included accessories.
2. Connect Your Trezor
Connect your Trezor device to your computer using the provided USB cable.
3. Go to Trezor.io/Start
Open your web browser and navigate to Trezor.io/Start.
4. Install Trezor Bridge
If prompted, download and install Trezor Bridge, which is a communication tool that allows your Trezor device to interact with your computer.
5. Initialize Your Device
Follow the on-screen instructions to initialize your Trezor device. This typically involves:
Setting up a new wallet or recovering an existing one.
Creating a PIN for your device.
Writing down your recovery seed (a series of words that can be used to recover your wallet if you lose access to your Trezor).
6. Secure Your Recovery Seed
Write down the recovery seed on the provided recovery card.
Store the recovery card in a safe place. Do not share it with anyone or store it digitally.
7. Access Your Wallet
Once your device is set up, you can access your wallet through the Trezor web interface.
You can now send, receive, and manage your cryptocurrencies securely.

Always double-check the URL to ensure you are on the official Trezor website.
Keep your Trezor firmware up to date.
Never share your PIN or recovery seed with anyone.
